Entergy - Employee
I am an Entergy employee that will remain nameless.A lot of people complain that Entergy does not work fast enough, or that we don't care etc.
You all do not realize that our servicemen and technicians have more jobs to do and take care of that just yours. Sometimes they have a TREMEDOUS workload on them and they may not be able to handle all that work in one day. Sometimes we have a shortage of servicemen depending in what area they are in. As a Entergy rep, when you call and need service reconnected, need info on your bill etc.
we can only tell you and give you information that is provided to us in the system. So you all calling and cursing us out or whatever is really not going to help you and at the end of the day, we can only do and give you information that is in our system. We have policies and rules and guidelines to follow, just like every other company. We may want to keep your lights on and prevent you from being disconnected because its cold and you have kids but that is not up to us.
We cannot discount bills because it goes off of your actual usage. We as customer service reps are limited in what we can do, as well as the supervisors.
The guidelines and policies set forth by the people who actually created the company is what EVERYONE goes by.Sorry but we can only do so much.

Please. You fools give people three different bill amounts and don't even answer the phones. Can hardly explain why & how the bill amount is where it's at.
Your costumer service and over billing is bullshit. Get the *** out here
Then it sounds like your company is understaffed.With the rates you charge your customers should be treated like gold.
Especially in areas where your company is our only choice.I live in central Texas, I want a power company out of Texas.
