New Orleans, La...I moved into my apartment a month ago and had service transferred into my name. That was a nightmare in itself because they wanted the former tenant's information.

How am I supposed to know that? So, the lady tells me that someone would be out that day to check the meter and my service would not be interrupted. And then, I'm assuming she hung up... One month later, my power goes out.

So, I called entergy and they said there was an outage in my area and power would be restored by 1pm. So, 1pm rolls around and no lights. So, i call back and talk to customer service bc for some reason, my phone number that they asked me for several times when i transferred service, was not pulling up. Turns out whoever i talked to the first time never put in the order.

It was complicated bc of some pending bs. But, she specifically told me a month ago that my service would not be interrupted and then the call ended. So, I figured it was all good bc these people are doing their jobs correctly and they have my phone number in case we get disconnected right? Wrong!

Today i talk to a supervisor who tells me that the representatives can not dial out! And that my service will not be connected for another 2 days! No disconnect notice. Shouldn't there have been a letter addressed to the former tenant?

Nothing! And the supervisor tells me that dispatch has too much work today to get to me. This is their screw up! And of course she was sympathetic on the phone..."ma'am I'm so sorry".

Yea, she isn't the one left in the dark with a hyperactive 6 year old with no where to go. I even asked her "what am i supposed to do? What do you want me to do? I have a child...this is an emergency!" and then she tells me that she can't give me advice.

Of course you can't! *** got too real for her bc even though I'm pissed, i thank her anyway. And she hangs up in my face! Now, I can rough it for a couple days.

But that is besides the point. Why am I even talking to her?! If she is a supervisor she should have some authority.... I'm just another faceless pissed off customer to her.

Just another mom that got left in the dark...In more ways than one.

It's summer in south louisiana. Guess i should be thankful it's not August.
